Good Luck
for all the new students that are going to Spartan i had some beautiful days in there

make the most out of the time that you get there never think about things u left back home study alot so you will not need alot of time to go over every thing before the USMLE and enjoy the island its beautiful

close your ears and never listen to rumors its small sociaty and some people have nothing better than blah blah blah blah

Dr.Guru is a very nice man he was always good with us and he tried his best to get every thing done in reasonable way and time

i really did like it in there it was totaly new experiance for me i had some hard time adjusting the new place and culture but now that i'm done with my time in the island i look back and say waaaaw that was a unique experiance in my life that i will never forget

i envy you its such a nice feeling to start the first step in your medical career :)

best of luck

Well it certainly is refreshing to hear such positive things about a school that I am going to, not that I doubted anything about spartan, I think they are among the more realistic schools in the world as far as being affordable and giving all who deserve, a chance in life. Issues of usmle pass rates etc should not be very relevant, success in medical school or any type of higher education in my opinion is largely the effort of the student, days of spoon feeding end in high school, at this level you are on your own, your disciplined study habits and general hard work will see you through. Enough said, but thanks once again smilyface

Here's a question for you Smileyface, if you enjoyed Spartan so much why are you trying to transfer into SGU?

good question :)

well yes i did enjoy spartan and as i said t was a nice school and i have some nice memories there
and they were very helpful and i mean it when i said that
and to be more realistic it has its ups and downs but generaly speaking it was nice

now
why i wanna transferee to SGU

there are 3 reasons

1. (the main reason) that i need to finish my MD and i'm not an american citizen nor british and spartan doesn't help in getting visas (they made sure to tell me that when i got accepted) but when i first applied things wasn't going all wierred in the whole world so getting visa wasn't a big deal then !! but ooh well i was wrong

2. financialy i'm waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better now so i can afford SGU

3. when i first got to know about the caribbean schools i never knew that there was more than one school i thought it was only spartan (i was totaly new in knowing that there r medical school in this part of the world i was in europe then and i had couple of canadian friends who told me about spartan)

i hope that this ansewred your question :)

Spartan is a good school and yes it helps you to get your MD in very affordable way :) and short time

SGU is a nice dream i don't know if i will be transfering or not but i need to try they don't seem like someone who really encourge transfering but they are very extremly organized and clear and we all know its no.1 caribbean school we will see how things will trun out to be so wish me luck :)

to be totaly honest i'm only thinking about how much they will ask me to repeat if they got to accept me at all :) so see i need u guys to wish me luck
