Look forward to meeting you too!
I have yet to see any of the cirque du soleil shows. I've been a poor college student the past five years and have only been able to afford the $0.99 breakfasts! One of these days I'll check them out though.
Cheers!

I applied two weeks ago but sent my application in federal express. I also kept bugging the registrars office about my app. which may have speeded up the process. I would highly recommend you call the main office in Gardner to see if they've received your app. Then maybe ask when you can schedule an interview, or if you can talk with someone about scheduling one.
Hope that helps and good luck! I'll cross my fingers that you get in. :D
Take care,

I am seriously considering applying. I am still gathering information from different schools. I am leaning this way as of now. I would probably not be able to start until at least May though. Let me know how it is. I have no pre-req.s as of now, so I would be doing them all at the school.

Hello
It's a good idea to try and get your books before you come down here; too often students arrive here and have to wait several weeks before getting their textbooks, which is a hassle. Particularly the Anatomy and Physiology book (Tortura and Grabowski), which i use extensively in teaching Premed I A&P.
Also a good idea to have a flash drive or some other memory stick, or at least a zip disk...

Dr. D-
When you said that we should have some type of memory stick would a USB pen drive be sufficient? I read on one of the posts somewhere that it would be a good idea to have one.

usb pen drives are pretty useful and convenient. i see more and more students using them.
at first i bought a pen drive but it broke, so then i got a zip drive, but that broke, and now i have a pen drive again. this one better not break.
good luck

Hi, I will be starting pre-med in Jan. I'm 38 and my wife and 13 year old son will be living on Nevis as well. I'm a former pilot with the airlines and have decided to persue my other passion. My college background was pre-med with good grades but that was 20 years ago and so I need a refresher, hence pre-med. My son and I visited Nevis a couple of weeks ago and I think we are all making the right decision by choosing MUA. I spoke at length with the acting Dean as well as other staff and faculty and found them very helpful and interested in what there are doing. Nevis is also a wonderfully relaxing place and distractions will be minimum (I know that spells boredom to the younger students but it should be beneficial in the long run).
Looking forward to meeting everyone in jan!
Best Regards

Hi,
I am considering applying for the premed 1 in January 2004. But i am not sure if it is too late to apply and have the phone interview, and if i qualify for premed in Jan. 2004. I have completed over 60 college units, being that i changed my major, i only have one semester of science classes. I was wondering if anyone can tell me more information about when to apply...if i should wait one more semester and go for the May premed, or if i have a good enough chance to get in jan 2004. Please help....
thanks.
