I think we need to start this ... seeing as we might be roomates in a few short weeks. :-jump
How many of ya'll are guaranteed spots in the dorm this semester?
Are you in a one bedroom or two bedroom?
Josh :-happy
I am just happy to finally have a place to lay my head this semester ... cause I bet we won't be spending very much time in them.

Just got an email from Farrah,
She said roomates for doubles are picked at random ... however, she also said if anyone wanted a specific roomate or knew someone she would try to accomodate the request as long as both parties emailed her.

were you already told that you had a single/double or a room in the dorms at all? and if so how were you told. did you call and ask or did they just tell you.

I had to call down to St. Maarten to find out if I even had a room. I first called MEIO and they said that I "probably" had a room. They couldn't tell me whether or not it was a single or a doulble, but I assume that it is a double being that that was what I requested. I suggest that you call down to St. Maarten, hope that helps.......

Actually, I have to give props to Travis at MEIO...yesterday he helped me insure that all my paperwork was in order after suffering an anxiety attack. In the middle of it all, my ECC pre-paid card let me know that I had a few minutes left, and Travis offered to call me back, since incoming calls are FREE! Not only did he call back in less than a minute, he was very thorough in going over all of my supporting documentation, then transferred me off to Greg in financial aid who was equally helpful! :D Must be something in that Miami water...

Remeber this ... if you want something don't expect anyone to give it to you ... go out and get it!! :-sport
I emailed housing and they always reply within 2 days. I am guaranteed a spot in a Two bedroom I believe. :-happy
