I'm feeling exceedlingly cheap these days, I didn't like the idea of spending $100 on transportation from Castries to Vieux Fort and hotel stay for the first night... :idea: Split the cost with Chris!

Also it dawned on me that I might as well be the easiest target for a crime, being a 21 year old female foreigner... :idea: I can hide behind Chris!

You should see some of the things I'm packing... My parents think I'm preparing to flee from WW3- everything from plastic utencils to lint removers :roll: No one taught me how to pack light. 220lb of luggages. How am I going to yield all that weight? :idea: Well Hello, Chris.

But hey, it's not a one-sided friendship here, I um... offer counseling. Yah... that's it. Uh and I also order his Robin costume.

It's getting busy, isn't it! I'm sure you'll pull through fine :)

The miami route is quite expensive, my agent at Travel Cuts initially gave me the same quote. But eventually we found student discount flights from Vancouver via Air Canada. I transfer in Toronto, and connect in Barbados via Caribbean Star that'll fly into Castries, St. Lucia. This turned out to be a lot cheaper. I didn't realize you're from Vancouver as well. I leave in the evening of Aug 26th. See you can find the same flights, it'd be great if we can travel together.

I purchased my books through ecampus. Aside from little mishap with the online coupon, I found their service quite reliable and time efficient. I'd suggest you get on this ASAP since we have only a little over 3 weeks left!

My flights from Vancouver to Castries were $1450 CAD (~$1000 USD), and my return date is in April 2004. If you're flying from Atlanta and if you're talking about $1003 in USD, it sounds a bit on the high side- however my flight is at a student discount price and I reserved it over two months ago.

Try checking out the following options before paying for the flights you mentioned. Most likely it won't be much cheaper at this point since you're booking late.
