couple of quick questions

1. i am bringing my bike, will they charge duty on it as i come in at the airport?
2. when do i startbuying books, from where, and how should i ship them?
3. when do i start registering for classes for jan?
4. my return flight was for the 16th, sunday, since the 14th and 15th werent available to me...will they allow me to stay till then in april?

Hey Mo, I brought two bikes and they did not charged me anything. Depending in what airline you're flying, you can susbtitute one luggage for a bike...other wise you will pay $100

THey best way to buy books if through the SMU bookstore, located at the school website. All you have to do is buy them and they will ship them for you here, they will be waiting for you in school when you arrive. This is good as you can bring more stuff with you i.e less books weigh a ton!

You should register as soon as you are able to do it...more peace of mind i guess. I dont know the specific date though

I'm not exactly sure but I don't think we can registar till sometime in December. At least that's what I believe I was told by admin.

i have one last question....are we allowed to work outside of us, canada, and england, like australia..etc...
