Question about classes 1st term

I was just wondering whether the study approach to first term classes was mainly the memorization of notes/handouts or was it more based on the reading of assigned chapters.

Pure memorization of notes, handouts, images, etc. Very selected reading of the textbooks, but by no means cover to cover.

I didnt read any text books for 1st term, pretty much just memorized the notes, Believe me you just need to memorize and understand the notes

yes no time to learn things, just memorize but that doesn't mean cram cause its imposible to cram for biochem and anatomy, I learned that the hard way...
