Anybody know anyone rotating in Houma, Lousiana? I wonder how they are doing with Hurricane Katrina down there...

Posted on MUA Nevis website as well.
I really don't know much. I know most students went North, East and West. The phones are down and I cannot get through. I am planning on returning today and if I can get computer access I will update everyone on what I know.
I do know that gas lines are long and they are running out of gas at stations. Some groceries stores are open. Refugees are coming in to stay in Houma shelters and the Civic Center. I have no idea what the traffic will be like coming back in. I do know that I left for Houston area which took me 5 normal hours early Sat.... a few hours later after 4:00 p.m. it took most of my fellow students 12 to 15 hours to travel the same distance. I was lucky to get a hotel room in P****ena for 59 a night. Some had to go to the west side of Houston and pay more than 150 a night. If you want more information you can log on to www.houmatoday.com and the newspaper will tell you everything I know.
Will post more later.

I would like to share my comments that I posted on the Nevis forum but I do not know how to link it. Someone can do it for me if they know how.
I have told extensively the knowledge I have on Houma and the conditions here, from gas, wind damage, housing and the hospital and how it will effect the current rotations and future.
PM me if you need additional info. I am back in Houma
