I visited St Christophers campus on Thursday18th August 2005 at Luton. A threee floor building opposite Luton University(British University). Further down the road(park street west) is where their office is. The receptionist was a 16 year old girl who new absolutely nothing. As a matter of fact she reported me to one of the lecturers for asking questions, Lecturer looked at me with disgust. I asked a lot of questions but could not get any straight answers e.g how many students are enrolled? For some reason everything seemed so secrative. I asked to be show around the building but they refused saying that i had to make an appointment. I couldn't understand this as I had turned up on their advice. I had spoken to them the day before.
I asked them for a copy of the time table which they reluctantley provided after confirming that I was holding an offer. I left the office and headed towards the lecture building which was not very big. I went into the building but was stopped by a the security guard who did not allow me entrance. He said that I had to be ecsorted by an official staff. I left in dissapointment. The building is located behind shops in the high street.
As a British student how can i be expected to pay thousands of pounds after this treatment. This college seems far too suspicious and secrative. I do not recommend this college to anybody. On the balance of probabilty it is far too risky and the suspicious behavior of staff doesn't help.
I have spoken to two asian student during my visit. They said the course was good and the staff were helpful. This is my experiance during my visit. Thank you.
