I'm looking for restaurant recommendations on St. Martin. What's good?
How about kid friendly (not fast food)?

Also, I'm taking my 5 yr. old son to the zoo and butterfly farm while we are there...any other suggestions about what would be fun for a 5 yr. old on St. Martin?

I'm a student on Saba and will be spending a few days over in your neck of the woods during break and would appreciate any advice.
Thanks. :)

Turtle Pier would be a nice restaurant. It's located on Airport Road and has lots of fun critters.

Check out their website...

You should check out the show at Cheri's. Lot's of colorful costumes, kids seem to love it. While it is filled with adult themes, there is no profanity and the jokes are over the head of 99.999%, if not all 5, year olds.

Food's ok. Kinda like an Applebee's or O'Charlies or something like similar.

The Zoo and Butterfly Farm are great ideas.

If you're interested in bowling, the bowling alley has a glow-in-the-dark motif which the kids enjoy when the lights are out. They also have arcade games there.

Your son might also enjoy snorkling. You can practically see the fish without snorkling, but kids seem to enjoy the sport. Kids snorkel gear is pretty cheap. You don't need the fins, just get a mask and snorkel.
Enjoy your time in St. Maarten!

Thanks for the suggestions! I appreciate all of them, and any more ideas anyone may have.
