General Admission Q's... also looking for any advice..

My question is regarding the school. I'm assuming that theres time off during the summer like during undergrad years ... does AUC have any internships abroad that are available to you through the school?
I was in Africa for awhile last year and I would love to go back in the future for some type of medical school program...

First off, let me slap you some for ignoring the sticky, your GPA is pretty dang good, your MCAT is a little on the low side and if you brought it up you're good to go, I daresay you could probably apply now as well.

Secondly, your assumption, as assumptions normally are, are wrong. You are on an accelerated schedule. There are three terms per year, the longest break you get is during winter, a few short weeks, the rest are about 10 days (more or less depending on your finals schedule and flying time).

AUC however does have active research groups going on, so you have a chance to be published, plus numerous opportunities for volunteer work. But what that does mean is you'll really have to learn how to juggle your time to do those things and pass your classes.
