Man,

It is for the first time in 4 months that I can drive on asphalt paved road. I can speed up to 120km/h and there are no goat on the road . The shower is the most terrific. Starbuck, Time Horton( for Canadian ) is awesome. Anyhow, I miss you all and enjoy your time with the family and friends. I will see you back in Sept. To all the docs still on the rock, PM me if you want to get some thing over here. I can buy and bring it over. Later

Hi Guys,

I wanted to know what is the one food that you would suggest that I bring with me to the Island. I was thinking of bringing noodle packs?

Let me know. Thanks.

I came home for the first time since Christmas. I quickly learned that I had pretty much forgotten how to drive a car in a sane manner. I often found myself in the other lane and/or passing cars within inches, all which is pretty normal on Saba. I also found myself freezing to death half of the time, even to the point of turning on the heat in the car in the middle of the day. (Whereas before I would often go skiing in a long sleeve T-shirt.) I threw up twice from eating fast food, gained weight from the fast food that I did keep down, and drank more in three weeks than I do an entire semester on Saba. Man am I ready to go back. I know some people were glad to go home from school, but Saba is my home.

 I have been wondering what effect learning to drive Saba style might have on a person!

Y`know Nate.....

Maybe the throwing up incident wasn`t a result of the fast food. Maybe its because you drank way too much.

As for driving, it took me two days to get used to driving a left hand drive car again, and then i was burning rubber alllllllll over the place in a huge SUV. So personally i think you just drove badly to begin with.

Yea.... Pretty much. Well I had mom's minivan for most of the break, which accounts for my ineptitude. Still haven't crashed here on the island yet though.
