i thought this has been discussed before? Ross lost this clinical site to St. George's way back in 2001 or 2002 due to financial reasons.

Has something changed????

If so why does Ross still have it on their list and why is it still listed on this forum?

Because it looks good on paper and online! :-) and no one at Ross wants to admit it's not theirs anymore.

I was told by the rotations people via email that Jamaice is still affiliated.

If Jamaica hospital is a viable affiliate to do electives can anyone let us know if there is any decent housing in Jamaica. What type of area is it?

Try to get a place by Briarwood, technically still part of Jamaica, but people changed the neighborhood name to avoid the bad stigma. Briarwood is right by the "F" train, I believe Van Wyck-Briarwood stop. I lived there for about a year...Very nice place. Not far at all from Jamaica Hospital. I paid $1150 for a two bedroom, 1 1/2 bath, well worth it.

Queens Medical Center is on the ROSS list and is located in Jamaica
