hello every1,
I just applied for 4yrs program at st chris, starting this sept. I have 2 yrs of general sciences from the university. However, i am still missing 2 classes from the pre-reqs list to 4yrs program. Is it possible for me to take those classes along with my 4 yrs basic science classes and/or do I have an option to waive those classes at my own risk? One of the carribean schools i applied to said that i could waive them and finish em later by taking correspondence.
Because i dont feel the need to enter the 6 yrs program and spend 2 more yrs jus for 2 classes.
THNX for ure response

You would take them with the 4yr.
What 2 classes?

uh may get out of physics 2 (you only need 3 credits for lic in one state, the rest do not require) What maths? you only need a year. (you do need at least 90 credit hours though)

must have at least 90 semester hours and all the pre-reqs to be admitted into the 4 year prog. Otherwise, you will have to enter the 6 year and complete the missing credit. You wouldn't have to do all 2 extra years, just up until you have 90 semester hours and all the pre-reqs.

It is very important that you have all these requirements met because a lot of states require at least 90 semester hours of undergrad and a lot of states even require specific subjects. Don't try to find a shortcut, it could hurt you later.

as far as licensure, yes, you can. however, you need to check with the school to see if THEY will allow it.

This keeps coming up a lot, Orgo 1 + Biochem. The answer from us here will continue to be maybe. The college officials are the only ones who can make these decisions and they will not do that with you over the phone. The only way to get the answer for YOU is to apply. Biochem should fullfill the requirements but the standards are being raised and as I said we do not make the decisions here.
