1. Alcohol intoxicity: a female lost consciousness in her office with 2 empty bottles of medication for depression and anxiety, and one almost empty bottle of whisky near her. UDS alcohol (+), all others are negative. I forgot to order BAL. Intubate and supportive with lavage.
2. FUO: Female with ho of ovary cancer, one week after chemo presented as fever, and mild depression. WBC is about 1300.
3. Angina: Ho HTN, not on medication, chest pain ocassionally, nl EKG. Stress test, ischemia, with LDL 190.
4. Bowel Perforation: acute abdomen. CXR free air. Surgery.
5. Trichomonas: female, typical presentation.
6. UTI+DHA: present as AMS, with dysurination. FH of DM. UA showed infection. CMP showed BG of 600.
7. Sickle Cell Anemia pain crisis: I gave cefatan and gentamicine. I am not sure though.
8. MVA: pericardial effusion.
9. Pancreatic cancer: Is very interesting case and straight forward. But, I was misled by FH of colon cancer. So I did the whole GI work-ups including colonoscopy and EGD, all negative, until USD was ordered.
