How Much Is Really Enough For The 1st Semester??

Hey guys! I have to leave Canada in 14 days, and I don't know to much to expect to spend for the 1 st semester. It really scares me when I see how many fees there are on top of tuitions and housing.

I honestly begin to suspect Am I heading for the glory, or just another shark jaw.

Yeah I hear that, this $304 VISA fee came out of nowhere, it doesn't say anyywhere that there is such an expensive VISA fee to immigrate to Cayman, its crazy, in addition there is a 900 charge the first semester for Kaplan materials.

Visa Fees, SMU cannot do anything about it. The Kaplan program has been put in place since 90% of the students had asked for it.....
As far as spending on the island, you can put between 16.000 and up to as much as you want per semester. Once again, if you eat at restaurants every night, your budget will be more within the 25.000. You need to budget and be carefull on your spendings.

I am sure SG meant $16,000 with tuition. But I blew by my budget here by an easy $6000 this semester. I was past $16,000 on tuiton and housing alone.
