how to spend the days b4 school

hey guys,

for those of you coming to the island a few days before school starts. im sure most incoming students will be arriving on the 26th...how u will be spending those few days before class starts? tanning on the beach? checking out the nightlife? or simply trying to get as much sleep as possible cuz you know your gonna be pulling all those all-nighters once school starts. ;)

There are a few things you can do. Beach, dive, ....or study lol. I dont think you'll be pulling all nighters as much as you may think. Study a little everyday and you'll be fine.

I'd definately try and do sting ray city before classes start. The semester gets busy but it's off season right now and we just got some good group rates for different tours and what not. Anyhow, dont worry you'll have plenty of time in semester to do things too....

A little everyday????????????? What school do you go to???? This is med school and you need to study everyday for at least 4 hrs. for each class...the biggest challenge facing you during the first semester is time management...

For all the 1st semesters who are approaching med school, you need to commit to med school with your hard work, time, and effort...

I work extremely long hours to make A's and it always pays off...thank goodness :)

I'm with Funnymedgirl on this one. You do have to put the work in! But if you do get the time management thing down, you'll be in good shape!

When you get here, live life as large as possible! See the things you won't have time to see during the semester, and just be HAPPY! Now that the semester is over...I'm gona be happy till I go home! :-D

Some people can easily get by with only doing a few hours everyday like pimp said. Some can get by with much less than that. Depends on how fast you can learn the material. You might need 4 hours a day but I'd go nuts if I did that. They'll all figure out how much they need to do when they get here. First semester is not hard.
