I don't know how often it starts, but check with your counselor.

This rotation depends a lot on the attending you're with. There's only one good on the wards, and you'll hear about that person once you get there. Unfortunately, you have no control over which attending you're assigned, or whether you go to the wards or to JHP, which is the prison unit. Lectures are small and succint, and I think helpful. It's pretty well organized if nothing else.

This rotation starts every six weeks. I think they take about 6 students. Over it is a good psych experience. Students get to see long term psych issues such as Bipolar and Schitzophrenia. Work day is from 7:30 to 5 and no calls. At the end we had to take a written exam and had to write a case paper.

Fully Furnished ROOM for rent in Maryland it's a great deal!!

My brother is a Ross University Medical student and i Know how hard it is moving around constantly. He lived with me for 6 weeks when he rotated at St. Elizabeth's. I have a 3 bedroom 3.5 bath townhouse located a half mile from the beach. You are 45 min drive from DC or Balitmore, and only minutes away from Prince George Hospital and Annapolis.

Rent is $600 and includes everything. You will be on the second floor and have the larger bedroom that has its own private bathroom, a full size bed, 32 inch tv, and a desk with chair. Your rent includes:

All utilities (yes everything including AC b/c its Central Air)
Wireless Internet
Cable TV with HBO and Showtime
Phone with unlimited long distance anywhere in the United States
Washer and Dryer
and a Parking Space

As for me, I am a State Trooper who works on a rotating schedule and am always working. You MUST BE CLEAN, trustworthy, and pick up after yourself, i.e. do not leave dishes in the sink or pots on the stove with food in them, and a clean bathroom when you move out. Short team lease is not a problem and month to month is ok too, and will pro-rate the rent if your only there for 6 weeks, etc. I will require a $600 security deposit that you will get back when you leave. If you're interested please email me at jac51pc@comcast.net , and I can send you photos of the place if you'd like.
