I ve heard that Long Beach and Arrowhead are hospitals were there are many DO students (Western COM) rotating through. They also have many DO residencies there.
Is it tough for a carrib. student to get the chance to rotate through there?

Anybody have any current information on this site? Which rotations (if any) are we allowed to do here.
I know that many UCI and Western DO students rotate through this place...good hospital. Be careful of the area though...surrounding areas can be tough.

Cardiology at Long Beach, NY is only couple of hours in the morning. There is almost no patient contact. The attending just gives you 2 hr lecture and thats it. The lecture is pretty good and its interactive but its like attending a class not doing a rotation.
Has anyone done Family medicine here? If so, what are the hours each day? and is there time for step 2 study? Thanks!
