Can anyone tell me anything on the first semester classes? how difficult are they? i noticed there are 5 courses did you find that you could dedicate enough time to each or did you feel like you really had to manage your time otherwise you fell behind?
Also do we use real cadaveors and are we assigned to one how does that work?
thanks

Five classes yes, but two do not require any time at all. Patient doctor one is just a matter of showing up to class and participating, and Biostats is only half of a semester (and not that difficult).

Histo and Embryo are classes that you can easily do fine just by dedicating a couple of hours a week to them. Anatomy is where you will spend almost all of your time. I think I study anatomy at least 90% of the time and histo and embryo only about 5% each. Biostats is kind've a joke if you've had any kind of statistics (or math, for that matter).
Only 27 hours left until 1st semester exams are done! 2 more left!
Best of Luck on your final exams Jeep23Guy!
Is there a final exam for Doctor/Patient Skill course?

anatomy is the most complicated of the 3 courses b/c of the amount of info...
Its doable though- just takes thousands of study hours.
There is no final in Pt-Doc 1 because it is a non-credit course. You learn the basics of proper physician to patient etiquite and some ethical dilemmas that may arise.
To my classmates: ENJOY the break - it was a very challenging semester but it looks like most, if not all of us, have pulled through.
Well deserved break guys- well done !!

Count yourselves lucky that biostats is a breeze there because here at AUC it is a bit**!!! I am hoping to get accepted and join all of you soon because I am extremely unhappy here at AUC!!
