At least $50....most likely more.

I usually got mine from Amazon.com. Do a search on here about buying textbooks online. I also posted the address you should mail it to if you use Amazon.

I have also had good luck with barnes and noble shipping items. Both amazon and barnes and noble have sent me books here within two weeks of my ordering them. Ubooksonline is quite frankly overpriced.

YOu don't need books for 1st semester as far as I am concerned. Don't buy the book for infomatic.

For anatomy, just get an atlas from upper semester students. The professor types the lecture nots for you. You will get an A if you just study his notes. If you read Moore, BRS, you will probably get a B or C.

For Histology, use the professor's power point slides, that is good enough.

Hindsight is 20/20.

I might agree with the remark about histology. Don't forget, though, that you are studying for the USMLE, not just to pass this one course. And you may or may not have the same prof brava had.
Granted, there isn't much pure histo on the USMLE, but it is the foundation for pathology, which is huge on the USMLE. I would recommend getting at least one good text for review.

Now this part isn't my opinion, it's fact: It is difficult to get a Netter's atlas from students here on Saba, almost nobody sells their Netter's Atlas.
I got here and had forgotten to order one (doh!) and had order one and wait a week and a half to get it.

Back to opinion, now: If you are like a few students, and never even crack a book and still do well, don't order one. Do you feel lucky (http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=&btnI=I%27m+Feeling+Lucky)?

You can get 5% off your books by ordering from the amsa portion of barnes and noble (http://www.bn.com/amsa) online. You don't have to be able to show you are an AMSA member to do that. You're welcome. :D
