Not really, but it would be nice wouldn't it? But as long as you guys keep posting on the one about NY, it will be one of the first anyone sees when they come to valuemd to look at the school. Let it die.

gain sites in Boston...especially since they have been able to get a research contract
with BIDMC... It would be awesome.

I'm with you guys...how cool would Boston be?? Although I could live without, I'd love to be in a quality sports city for clinicals. :-P I'm a junkie! Take care!

well harvard will take foreign students for electives.. (if im correct u cant be a US citizen tho.. so applies to canadians at caribbean schools.. i might be confusing this with another big name school.. but im pretty sure its something like that for harvard..)
only thing is its an arm and a leg in terms of cost for 4 weeks.. something ridiculous like 2500$ for 4 weeks...

link for visiting students at harvard.. http://www.hms.harvard.edu/registrar/handbook/chapt15.htm
i dont see anything about the whole cant be a US citizen attending a foreign school... so maybe im mixed up and that was another big name schools policy... or maybe they changed the rules.. so anyways.. at quick glance.. it seems ok for US citizens too.. as long there is space and ur willing to pay... should contact them directly to clarify whether ud be eligible or not.. either way.. tuition there will be just under 3000 (2950 as of sept 2005) (which amts to 1/12 of what the harvard kids pay for tuition yearly)

Sounds logical but NYC has so many good medical schools too and a lot
of Carib students rotate there for Cores...including SMU.
NYC is bigger than Boston....but Boston should be feasible,
However, I would just prefer if SMU expands in NYC.
