apartment recommendations

Can anyone recommend a good place to live that is not more than 5 minutes from campus. I read the sticky on housing but It seemed like there are more bad places than good places mentioned. I am going to be getting on the island on the 20th so I am hoping I can get something decent. Thanks for any input.
