Bar Scene

Just wondering if people will be going "out" the few days before orientation and during. I'll be down there on the 9th and will for sure want to hit up the bars atleast a few nights before school starts. Any takers? Also, is there a bar area where most people go or are they pretty spread out?

haha...I don't think you should have a problem finding people to go drinking with. In my first term, the first week was a lot of fun. Make sure you enjoy it though because after that school gets pretty intense. I don't know if there is one specific bar area, but a lot of people went to bananas which was near school. There are also other places like stuarts(wednesday's). shoot, you could just even go to pearls and glovers and get a beer. (thats are school cafeteria). hehe. take care and good luck!

you want to visit all the bars in Grenada in one week? please son, don't burn out all the fun so soon. After the first night in Grenada, I realized it didn't get any more lame than Stuarts. After the second night, I realized that Bananas was more lame than Stuarts. The third night, I realized that most of my classmates were more lame than Bananas or Stuarts. So as you can see, I surrounded myself with lameless. But by the time the fourth night rolled around, classes had begun, and I was only surrounded by one lame item: my classmates. So the moral of the story: its lame, but its not that bad.

Every student organization throws a party for the first 4-5 weekends so dont worry you will have your chance to go the the "clubs" and the bars on Grenada. Besides you have 1.5 years there. Do you really think you will be studying 24-7?

I agree a whole lotta lameness on the island. All those places start to suck very soon. I think i am going to go to the Grand Beach pool with some booze and freinds this term and screw the bars all together...

i'll drink with u whenever... it cant be that lame can it? alcohol seems to take the lameness away if u drink enuf of it
