I'm going to be attending St. Matthew's University in the fall and I was wondering whether a TB skin test and hepatitis shots are required in order to attend the school. I completed my immigration paperwork about a month ago and the TB test and hepatitis shots weren't mentioned. But I remember reading in the packet that we need the test and the shot before arriving on the island.

Hi afzal,

On page 2 of the welcome packet you will find the "checklist."

Item #5 begins with "It is recommended"..so not absolutely necessary.
The required tests and Physical exams are all listed in the Immigration Forms
which have to be completed by the Medical Examiner.

Call up SMU and ask the operator for the Immigration Dept.

I'd recommend getting the hep vaccine, as you'll need it sooner or later.
