Its getting close to the start of Term 1 and I was hoping we could get a list of things that are essential to bring, in terms of paperwork. I'll start...

Passport/Travel documents
Immigration Letter
Prime Minister Letter
Registration Voucher
Receipts for electronics
Cash (kinda like paperwork)

Hopefully others with more experience than I can add to the list!

There should be a sticky by Dr. Nick on things to bring, its very good and really don't see a need for another thread on this topic.

Okay...evidently I missed something. Dr. Nick's list is very useful about what to bring to the island. I saw the value in having a useful checkoff list for incoming first termers like myself who may need to quick summary of the essential PAPERWORK to bring in order to ensure smooth entry into the island. If the sticky at the top of this page does indeed include this type of information, I apologize.

I didn't see the paperwork information in Dr. Nick's list either. Thank you for the thread, I find it useful.

i think that's everything. customs and immigration will be smooth and quick so you can then start having fun and meeting everyone on campus.

you only need to bring a receipt for your laptop. just pay the laptop tax and they don't care about the rest of your electronics.
