Hey All,

Just a random q about the superdorms - how many floors are there, and are there elevators in the building?

I tried to do a search for this, but couldn't find anything. thanks!

Elevators... eh who needs em... a couple of flights won't kill you... but would be helpful when moving in furniture

Speaking of living arrangements, my soon-to-be-wife will be joining me and I'm curious to what is the best option for two people to live together. Will they allow "couples" in dorms or would we have to get an apartment? What do you guys think? What worked out better for you?

There's 3 floors (ground floor, 1st floor, 2nd floor). Its important to know which floor you're on, so you can get direct delivery from the Indian food guy, hehe.

And nope, no elevators unfortunately.

the official law in grenada is that no bldg can be taller than a palm tree. (im not joking) so yea 3 floors and it goes by what babu said...its not 1st, 2nd, 3rd. so get use to it.
in GA there are 3 in bldg 2 and 2 in bldg 1 (because ivan destroyed and topped off the 3rd floor in bldg1...)

and for the married couple...u need to contact housing for a married housing for details. its not the SD or the GA. its like a studio apt sort of thing i believe.

Nope, you have to have a marriage license to get into married housing, fiances don't count. There is no couples housing, so you would have to get an off-campus apartment. Unless you have a single (virtually impossible as a first-termer), guests can stay in the double dorms a max of 1 week. (Longer with written permission of roommate.)

Yup. Rooms are same sex, but floors are mixed co-ed.
