Hi,

I was wondering if anyone out there could provide some hints as to how to remember hard medical words. I can't even pronounce some of these, much less memorize them.

What is your technique?

diplococci Ceftriaxone, Chlamydia trachomatis, Ureaplasma urealyticum, hydrochlorothiazide etc...etc......These are just some examples.

any help would be appreciated.

reputation reputation reputation reputation reputation reputation.....

Sorry - that's the best method. I am practicing medicine now and these terms are like "yes" and "no" because I've heard, spoke, and read them so much for the past 7 years.

Good Luck!

There are med term courses out there...some, I think,
are even taught over the web. (I think there's a first quarter
one online at: http://www.deanza.edu).

I am taking the first quarter course at deAnza right now, on campus.

Learning such wonders as....herniorrhaphy... :)
