Bring at least 100 pairs.
Bring more if you think you'll like lab, or if you're a more visually-oriented person.

you can also buy a box from a pharmacy in Grenada if u would rather use that space for food or other stuff...it comes out to about $5-6 for a box.

What? We have to bring our own latex gloves for anatomy lab?

Yeah, I'm also surprised by that. I never got any indication that it was necessary for us to bring down our own.
Can we wait to buy them on the island? I'm allergic to latex so I'll need nitrile or vinyl gloves. Can I get those there too?

You don't necessarily need gloves for dissection. Dr B and Dr J do the dissections with their bare hands. Some other students did dissections without gloves. (eeeewwwwwwwwwww)

If you need nitirile or vinyl, I'd highly recommend bringing your own. I don't believe they sell these types at the store, and if they did, it'd be expensive.

I did all of my dissection without gloves except for one time. The formalyn gave me numb fingers when I wore my gloves with them, so I just washed my hands alot and scrubbed under my nails with a brush. They are triple embalmed no big deal.

i thought that i already said you can buy them down there!!!!! ummmm!!!!
anyway, the trick really in keeping the smell from sticking to your hands regardless of whether you use gloves or not is VASELINE!!!
if anything bring some vaseline then and you can feel free to dissect without gloves! i stopped using the gloves and dissected barehanded for better dexterity...and also because i was always running late and kept forgetting the gloves!!!!
