5th semester dinner coming up!!!

The semesterly 5th semester dinner is coming up this Saturday August 6th at the Gorgeous "Rojo Lounge" on the Northside at a gorgeous resort. This upcoming 5th semester dinner should be the best so far yet. The senior committee has been working very hard to have a exciting and fun program filled with video clips, suprises for some teachers, the first "White Jacket Cermemony" for MUA and a gourmet dinner. Our speakers for the evening are our Dean of Students, Dr. Zuniga and the Commencement speech is done by the only Neurologist in all of Belize- Dr. Mendez, which also happens to be our Pathology 1 and Neuroscience teacher as well. Look foward to later postings on how the Senior Dinner went. Oh to add, we will be traveling to the senior dinner by the Lady Sharon Cruise Ship!!

The Whitecoat Ceremony for the 5th semester students went very well this semester. The Senior Committee did a wonderful job organizing a 'special' location to the New Azul Resort/Rojo Lounge 6 miles North of San Pedro on the beautiful 'Isla Bonita'. The location was very beautiful. The "Lady Sharon" made the trip up to the Resort and back to San Pedro, very enjoyable. The slideshow of the seniors showed a side of many of the seniors that we had not seen before - the baby pictures were great!
Good luck to all of the 5th semesters as they continue their review for the boards and focus on being successful on the USMLE and their Clinical Rotations.
