I am a 3rd semester student. I just wanted to start a fun thread...I know that it's kind of random, but at least it's on a positive note...

What is everyone's favorite place to eat on the island???????? Anyone wanna share?

I am a big fan of the nachos and chicken fajitas at Hard Rock Cafe ... :)

Good Snacks and Suds:
Murphy's (gota have Guinness :))
Hard Rock Cafe
Coconut Joe's
These are my favorites; although, there are tons of these here!

Lots of Yummy 4 Lots of Money:
The Westin
Deckers
The Wharf

These are just a few of my top choices out of many options in the above categories. Again, nice thread idea!!

For Nice Places...
The Lobster Pot (Georgetown on the Water) has great foot and a great view of the water...

Decker's (across from the hyatt) is also great food and has a nice atmosphere.

Calypso Grill (Far West Bay on the Water) has indoor and outdoor seating right on the water. The lobster bisque is the best on the island.

Ragazzi (across from the Beach club) is really good italian food and the prices aren't too bad

Good Food...
Lone Star Bar and Grill...Burgers, sandwiches, and some mexican food...Feels like home in Texas. (our favorite lower priced place)

someone suggested the Cracked Conch to my husband and I, but we never got to eat there during our visit



also, one of the school officials suggested Paradise to us during our stay

Can someone give me the website or phone number for Veggie Delights.
Or their experience there.
I am not vegetarian....but I do enjoy Veggie and Organic foods .

I have never eaten at Vegetarian Delights, but one place that you can always go to for some awesome Vegetarian food on the island is Calypso Chicken...

I recommend the Vegetarian Lasagna there...it is the best you can get on the island and quite frankly, the best veggie lasagna that I have ever had...

Also, they have tons of great veggie sides, all of which are affordable, such as:

-Carribean brown rice w/ black bean

-potato salad

-fried plantains

-carrot salad

-mashed potatoes

-regular salad

-Greek salad w/ feta cheese

and many more.. (this all that I could think of)

Oh yeah, and the people who work there are so nice...when they first opened, they gave St. Matthew's students free smoothies!!!! :)
