Should we bring one 1" Binder for each subject or a couple 2" binders or what? I really have no idea since I dunno if the profs will be handing out papers that we have to 3 hole punch and keep in a binder. Also, should we bring one subject notebooks for every subject?

This is how it was when I was 1st term, see disclaimer...
Anatomy: Free binder with your notes (wowee!)
Biochem: Bring 2"+ for notes handouts (which will fit 1/2 of the term)
Embryo/Histo: Notes come in spiral bound book - no binder needed.
BSF: Binder provided
As far as notebooks, do you like to take notes? The notes handouts are more than enough to study, but if you do better writing things down, then a few notebooks may be a good idea.

Can anyone confirms if this is the way that it still goes?? or maybe they have changed something. If this is the case, then i guess we just have to bring one 2" Binder.

lotsa ppl have the 3 inch one here for biochem and anatomy.
and they do sell binders here...but expect to pay a about 10 US for a 3 inch one....
I would bring 2 2" binders for biochem. You can bring only one and take out your notes from first half, but then you really have no where to keep those notes, which is why 2 binders come in handy. Also, I don't know about other people, but after midterms my histo and embryo lecture notes started to fall apart so I took them and put them in binders too, I can't stand those little black things they bound the books with. UGH!! Does anyone know how many binders we should bring for 2nd term?

Get a TrapperKeeper. You can keep everything right in there. G

It seems to me that binders would take up a lot of valuable luggage room

just pack smartly and put things into the spaces in the binders... :P

you can get some pretty big ones, I think you can even get 3-inch ones; try searching the internet, you're bound to find them

Does anyone know how many binders we should bring for 2nd term?
Neuro: 2.5"+ - they hand out half term at a time (400pgs each half if I remember right)
Physio: Hand out a packet at a time - so it's up to you if you want a binder to organize them pre/post-midterm, or just take the relevant packet to class. A larger one as well... 2.5"
Immuno: There are handouts, so probably a 2"+ (The handouts are pretty useless though - they don't have anything not in the book, so you can safely throw them out.
Parasit/Genetics: A single packet each - don't really need a binder for them.
