Hey, the AUC site says I have to have a LOR from my premedical advisory board, unfortunately Texas A&M at Galveston does not have a premedical program, much less a premedical advisory board. I have LOR's from several MD's here and one DO who sits on the admission board at a DO school here. Do you think that will suffice or will they still count me as incomplete on my application?

Best thing to do is call them and ask waht they want, if anything, in lieu of a LOR from your pre-med committee since that would be impossible G
You can also get a LOR from two science professors. That's what I did. There not too picky. Hope this helps!

Hey there! What they mean by "pre-medical committee" is just 2 science-related professors and 1 professor from your major (at least that is what every school I applied to wanted). It doesn'thave to be premed teachers. The doctor LORs are great, but I am pretty sure that they want to hear from your teachers too. Good luck!

P.S. my school didn't have a premedical program either...
