Hey, congrats!!!

Don't worry, just be yourself. There are a few people in this furum who just recently were interviewed, perhaps they can shade some light regarding some of the questions. The fact that you were offered an interview speeks volumes about yourself.

Good luck.

Last year my interview was with another person (cant recall the name) but it was very casual. It was about 5 questions and lasted about 15 minutes.

TRY NOT TO YELL. Speak slowly, confidently, and with normal tone of voice.

I understand the urgency--review your application materials, try to talk out your thoughts regarding your decision to apply to medical school and how they would apply to your future work as a physician. Complete a search on ValueMD, and you will find the answers for which you are looking.

Nimmuk has the idea as usual! As long as you don't mention the 25 state killing spree you went on as an undergrad (we've all been there ;)) you should be just fine!!

Hi,

I just had my interivew about a month ago. like everyone else said in this forum...just relax and be your self. my interview only lasted for about 5 mins. i was asked questions like:

1. why do i want to be a doctor?
2. what kind of dr. do i want to be?
3. what can we do about the raising cost of health care?

good luck on your interview! i'm sure you'll do just fine and keep us posted!

its great seeing how supportive smu students are, im not being sarcastic

sometimes tho i feel like its a strange cult or one of those trust building exercises where you have to say 2 nice things about someone before you say 1 bad thing.....i dont know just my thoughts

swimguy...lol... since I can only speak for myself, I think SMU students truly are genuine as now I know several of them ... I will start SMU in a few weeks and I dont have a single worry about the transition :)
Its a universal thing...people are more accepting of constructive criticism and
rational debates over slander and mud slinging competitions.

NJ smells...but only in the central industrialized area ...and we are the third worst drivers in the nation....and our beaches provide free chemical peels everytime you take a dip..

But ..if you go deep into NJ...you will find a natural wildlife, bears, deers, salamanders, wetlands, forests, streams, lakes, mountains....

...the blue beaches of Cayman however will definitely be more soothing than
the grey beaches of jersey ... looking forward to it :)

Welcome aboard senz asian...!

Get you Financial Aid in order if you havent done so already. and if you
will be procuring Health Xpress Loans, I suggest you do it on the phone
to make the process go faster. Also book your round trip flight, and
on the SMU's online portal, log-in using the username password provided to you,
and click on "student Information" and check all the documents that have been
processed or if any are missing....its an excellent service..utilize it :)
Good Luck !
