For those currently on the Island, what do you recommend I get with the laptop:

1. Windows Home or Professional?
2. 40GB or more?
3. Memory: 256MB/512MB/more...?
4. Processor: Pentium only?

You guys who rely on your laptops, let us know what you would recommend. Any and all information will be greatly appreciated... from all those starting this year. :)

doesn't matter, except you want 512mb of ram at least.

I'll be attending in January. How is the school wired for the internet. Do I need an ethernet card. Is there any wireless connections. Or is the school strictly using dial-up
