My question is if you are NOT in the masters (MSHSA) program in Maine and you are going to st. matthews for Med school, then are you eligible for the full $65,893.00 for 3 semesters? or do you only get the 65 thousand if you are ONLY in the double degree program. I say this because I am not in the MSHSA program and I was told that I will get around $45313 for the 3 semesters, which is not enough for me to live.

Also, no where on the st.matthews website or there emails does it say that you have to be in the double degree program to get the $65,893.

Students only enrolled in the MD program (Cayman Islands) are eligible for $65,893 for the 3 semesters. Students in the dual program are only eligible for $45,313 because they are also eligible for the Stafford loans at St. Joseph's college.

Sometimes you require a cosigner in order to get the full amount of money, make sure they are not cutting your budget because of that.
