Keep them in your bag/suitcase and you'll be fine.
If you start showing them off, prepare to open wallet.

Thanks guys. Tried doing a search, but "cd" was too short a phrase or something. No dice on compact disc + duty, either
Yeah, I read that if you just declare your laptop and are polite, nice, and respectful to the customs people, then there is less of a chance of having problems.
Just wondering if anyone has been charged a ridiculous price for their CD collection.

what i did was that i ripped all my CD on to my harddrive. that way u can save space and weight on ur luggage and reduce ur chance of being charge for the cds.

Pay ur laptop tax and no one will care about anything else. And if your returning to the island, just go to the Green line, show ur laptop receipt and get out.
