I need to book my ticket, however, I heard that St. Lucia has two airports. One is a nice 10 mintues away from the school, and the other is a grim 1 1/2 hour drive away which translates into probably over a hunderd dollar cab ride. Can someone please tell me of the airport code to the one that is closer ? The one I have used is SLU to price fares, but not sure if thats the correct one. Pleae advise
Thanks.

In the information package it says a fee of $55 US will apply to those arriving at Castries, not Vieux Fort.
UVF is the airport code for Vieux Fort
SLU is the airport code for Castries
The Castries airport only flies in SMALLER airplanes that hold probably 30-50 passengers maximum (I don't know but check to be sure if you care). They have connecting flights with big airlines like american airlines. This is a typical size airplane that flies into SLU. I haven't seen bigger airplanes fly into SLU

Vieux Fort flies in the bigger airlines that hold 150+ passengers.
These airplanes fly into Vieux Fort

One more thing, I forgot to answer your question, Spartan is in Vieux Fort so UVF is closer
