If you want to get a license in the U.S., do not let them know you completed distance education. So far, IUHS does not state that your education is on-line, but if questioned, you may be in trouble.

Any current students may want to think about transferring out now before you lose anymore money. Your education will be useless. This information comes from various licensing boards and the ECFMG.

The University will be going down soon - including the Canadian office. Word has it that Canadian students are appealing to the better business bureau and the U.S. students are going to the FTC. There is shady business at IUHS. If you want to sue, don't take on the university - take on Unimedica who is the parent company. There is much money there. If you want the name of the biggest player - give me a p.m. and I will tell you.

Do not listen to anyone who tells you different. They can't get loans due to the shady business that was operating in Boca Raton. The office moved to Canada, but the government there is becoming suspicious.

If you want to attend a medical school, pick one such as St. George's or Saba. They have a reputation and you wil be better received. IUHS doesn't even have a lab or cadavers. They claim that everything can be done via a computer. This is garbage.

Hope I'm helping someone. If you want more information, p.m. me.

Thank you.

Soon to be (Good Doctor)

Agree whole-heartedly. As prior student, I have seen the errors of my ways and got out in time to save myself. They are practicing in very shady ways, trying to travel below the radar of enforcement agencies and they must be stopped from hurting other students. For those of you reading this...GET OUT while you still have a penny left. This school is dishonest, disreputable, and you will lose your shirt along with any hope of having credentials verified in the future.

When Charles the Hun - the one who used to personally email Georgie Porgie and threaten him tells you that he transfered from IUHS........you know something wrong.

Charles the Hun was one of the smartest students that ever attended IUHS, and he did so merely because his wifewas studying in ST Kits at Ross Vet school.

He supported the school to the hilt when he is posting inuendos about IUHS you know something is wrong.

I will soon expose him as he says he exposed Georgie

I did not know Charles transferred out, but I would discourage anyone from attending any online school.

Saba, Ross, St. George, St. Eustatius, AUC, and even St. James are better alternatives.

This online schools cause problems for students who actually attend classes and look forward to a future in medicine.

There are many online schools for Nurse Prac. in the US and much better than any foriegn online school.

I do not know much about IHUS but if this online education is true, run the other way............fast.

I can further advise anyone from staying on-line. Saba accepted most of my IUHS credits, but made me do extra pathologyand immunology. So far it is more expensive than IUHS, but I feel better that I am on campus now. First, I thought that it would be great to work as a P.A. and study. It was too much for me and I bit the bullet and am now spending the next 18 mos on campus. I think it will be worth it.

Good luck to you all!

So what if everything is exposed then you will really see what IUHS has been up to, where money has disappeared to, why a medical school is being run by an accountant, why the business of the day is being run in Canada, why registrars keep quiting, why unqualified "professors" are teaching for them, and most importantly why idividuals like the one who posted the above message feel so emotionally involved with a failing/sinking school which in the long run will not prepare students for residency. You know if this "on-line" program was a viable option and if it were accepted by the medical community then there would be hundreds of them.

Good Luck to all who still remain with IUHS. Interesting that the school remains in a single dwelling house on St Kitts with a one book rack library that has to be unlocked to look at or borrow books. Sounds like a super learning environment doesn't it.

I am also someone who is amazed this school is still in operation. We all know how this happens though. IUHS advertizes on the net and unless a new applicant does their homework, they just see the advantages of what the school promises. You are right again in your accurate description of the school being run by an accountant in Boca Raton. The office in Canada is run by a bookkeeper who is not an accountant. They no longer have a Vice-Chancellor, no Dean of Medicine, no Registrar (I hear the newest one of 1 years duration has now left). It appears they only accept PAs and NFPs for a number of reasons. They don't have an academic dean and can't assess applying individuals accurately. It also appears that they don't have the academic resources to properly educate students with only a BSc background, therefore they have changed the entrance criteria due to insufficient teaching capabilities.

There is no one attached to this school who has any academic credibility with the exception of one female prof of retirement age. I think they are now using senior students to teach and run some of the academic admin (like the Student Orientation). You mention the campus/house, but we can see the reason for that still being in existence. The school cannot exist without a charter from a country and this "house" is the physical presence that allows the on-line program to function. When you now consider the change in the academic requirements for admission, it's a short step to understanding that the campus is simply a place for the charter to hang. The on-line students don't require the campus. The no longer accept BSc students and they were the only ones who were sent to the campus.....therefore????

Like most businesses or products that cannot deliver, they exist on the new people from one year to another. The students who have remained are students who existed from a time when academics were attached to the school, but that time is fast running out. Once they are gone the school will have no one as anyone with real academic credibility would never stay attached to this school.

It is my guess that they are waiting for one or two on-line students to qualify and be granted a state licence to practice. They will then use this as "proof" that the on-line programs works. That experiment should happen relatively soon.....keep watching as it should be interesting

I can't agree more. Has anyone ever contacted the government of St. Kitts? Since they are the ones who give the IUHS their charter, they would be the ones to contact. If everyone who thinks IUHS is a scam or has been hurt by the school sends messages to the government of St. Kitts, maybe they will open their eyes.

I advise anyone in the school to get out. I only stayed 4 months, but it is incredible what they are still running.
