Finding roomates

I was wondering how the new students usually find roomates? I do agree with a previous post that I would probably feel safer sharing an apartment. Thanks in advance!

Many students end up finding a roomate on the housing tour or even on the plane flying here. Most of the apartments here are multi-unit complexes so you'll always be by a lot of other students. You do have the option to have other students in your same unit, but many students like to have there own space and feel okay having students all around them. I've never heard of any problems at these big complexes, the only problems I've ever heard of were at single apartments pretty far from campus.
