My bride is very handy with a sewing machine (makes some of our clothes, actually) and would like to know if anyone there sews and how likely it is to pick up a used sewing machine. We arrive for the January semester.
We also have an 18-month old boy and would love to hook up with other young families. So, please let us know about mom groups, etc.
