$1 shipping fee on Overstock.com

To All 1st semester Students:

I just bought almost all my 1st semester text books from ovestock.com and it only cost me $1 for shipping and handling anywhere in the United States. I thought it is a good deal comparing to other websites. In additin, overstock.com will compare its price to Amazon.com so you don't have to do double searching. Of course, I have to drag those books to Saba but I save close to $200 compare to UBO.

If anyone is leaving for Saba on September first via US Airways, please PM me. I am leaving Minneapolis to Charlotte, NC , then to SXM and SAB.

Are you taking the ferry to the Island or the charter plane? I am also arriving on St. Maarten on the first, however, I will take the ferry the following morning to SABA.

What many students do is have their books shipped to Hassle shipping in florida, and then shipped to Saba from there. You can find their website by googling for "shipping saba" without the quotation marks.

Are you flying US Airways too? When are you arriving in SXM on the Sept 1st? I will be arriving at SXM around 3pm and then take the Winward Air to Saba--arriving saba about 4:30pm. Are you staying in the Dorm? If so, which dorm? I picked Hillside dorm single occupancy.

My plane ticket costed about $625 from Minneapolis to Saba (Oneway). I figure it would cost about the same amount if I fly American Airline, which I have to stay overnight at SXM plus pay the ferry to Saba. For American Airline it costs about $425 for me. But like I say I have to pay ~$100 for hotel at SXM and $40 for the ferry so it comes about the same.

I don't have to check my luggage until I arrive at Saba. This way I know my luggages will be with me (hopefully).
