Welcome to the forum and congratulations on receiving an interview. Be sure to check out previous posts for the types of questions you may encounter on your interview. Other than that, be honest and try to relax during the process (easier said than done though). Good luck and let us know how it goes. Ciao.

Hi all,
I received my acceptance letter for MAY 06 today as of 8/04/05. YEAH!!!! YEAH!!! YEAH!!! SABA was first on my list and with all that hard working and dedication I knew SABA will give me a chance. It looks like I will have to withdraw apps from ROSS and AUC. Thank you everyone for the support and encouragement. I look forward to see everyone there. I was wondering when should I apply for loan? In the financial aid information letter they sent to me mention this: "The financial aid office will only certify a loan once the student has secured placement and paid their first semester tuition in full. This is the only semester requiring prepayment." Is this mean I have to pay first semester tuition out of my own pocket before they certify a loan?

Good luck. You will be there a couple of months before I get there.. so .. be ready to answer all the questions that I will have. :)

Enjoy your day with celebrations and spend it with someone you care about. I think it adds a whole new meaning to celebration that way .. just my 0.00002

The financial aid office will only certify your loans once you have paid your deposit and tuition. This is actually only required for the first semester. I believe they do this to ensure that the student does not use the money for other purposes other than their education. So to answer your question, yes, you have to pay for the first semester tuition out of your own pocket. However, don't worry, you will get reimbursed for this once you get your loans. So, if you don't have some money available then either start selling some of your items to raise the money or borrow some from a friend, family member, etc... In either case, good luck. Ciao.
