hi,

i am from pakistan. i am newly fresh graduate, i didnt do my residency or call house job yet.
i am interesting in continuing remaing part in usa what procedure should i follow?

what r basic requirement for international student for continuing medical their?

is residency is necessary for admission in usa if it is not if i will give usmle without residency will it create difficulty for me in giving usale?

which book i prefer for preparation or helpful in my prepareation tell me in detail?

i am right now confused about procedure if somebody tell me in detail i will be thankful?

plz tell me in detail every requirement for international student?

I would recommend you join Kaplan and get their notes and go for the live lectures.

To do residency, you will have to get ECFMG certified. www.ecfmg.org is a good place to start. You need to pass USMLE step 1 and 2, the CSA (clinical skills assessment) which is given in the US, and the TOEFL. Then you can get your certificate and apply for residency. G

TOEFL is no longer required. CSA is now Step 2 CS.

Req's Step 1, Step 2 CK, Step 2 CS.

no english test needed. i guess they figure $1200 for the Step2 CS is enough to decide!
