Where is everyone on this forum? Some have posted, then there's no follow-up. We need more interaction--the new students need to buy things, but w/o a response, there's nothing gained. I need a 2 BR apartment, would even buy a house, but w/ less than 45 days remaining, I am growing anxious...

how much is your a rental budget?

That's probably part of my problem--I am not certain. All is being paid through student loans, unless, of course, I try to buy a house. (IF so, it will certainly be a starter house/"fixer-upper".)

I have heard nothing yet from SCJME, and my budget will depend upon the financial aid award. My allowance thus far is $17K - $8k (tuition) - $2K/mo (food/other) / 3 = $2.3K/mo

But, of course, I'd like to try to shoot for a lower monthly rent if that is feasible, (which considering the lack of space...).

Thanks for your concern. If you know of a place that I should consider--that will accept pets--I would appreciate it!

Thanks!

JP

Are you bringing a spouce with you?

My spouce and I will be moving out of our current place....we also brought our cat. The house will be out for rent once we move out...are you going to buy a car? Also, are you willing to share a house?

I also wanted to buy a house but the rates are not favorable, I guess I wait till I start residency...

Yes, yes, and maybe. My wife is coming with me, we plan to buy a car, and we may share a place, but that's not our 1st preference. But, I know, it is getting late. So we will obviously become more and more flexible as we get closer to the date. Feel free to email me if you could tell me more about your place. I'd also like to know a bit more about your difficulties wit finding good rates for buying a house, and what I should do to @ least take a look @ this further. Any help is appreciated. :) Thanks for your helpfulness thus far!
