I understand saba is a rather hot and humid place. I'm curious if you often experience discomfort do to this... as in, is this class you attend well AC'ed, your dorms, your appartments? Just trying to get an idea as to whether the weather becomes an "obstacle" that needs getting accustom to. Thanks

To be honest...its not that bad...school here have AC...power is never down...school have its own generators....and night here are nice and cool...afternoon get a little hot but not too bad.....dorms are all packed up with AC...they clean for you ....no obstacle.....only drawback is that there is nothing better to do then study at Saba..
Hope this helps,

Saba is usually several degrees cooler than the neighboring islands. Often, there is a nice breeze. It's really not that hot- and I'm from Michigan.

i am not a meteorologist, but why do computers fail in saba and most ppl blame the weather for it? a cool breeze and nto so hot temperature shouldn't produce that much humidity. should it?

cool is a) relative and b) has nothing to do with humidity. Seattle, for example, is cold and damp much of the year, as is (say) London, Glasgow, and Bodo, Norway

78 - 84 degrees year round temperature range. Can drop into the high 60's during Winter nights. I'm on SXM and the temperature feels much cooler on Saba.

I'm in 1st semester and I honestly wished I had brought more warm clothes for the classrooms, like a nice "hoodie". I wish I had brought more nice clothes than I did...because I go out more than I expected. T-shirt and shorts is my daily uniform. I'm hot outside and cold inside...can't win for losing...same story as it was in Texas...
I recommend layers, I guess. Maybe if I had some velcro pants I could rip off at break when I go outside....
