About 1200 dollars a month, not including utilities, and you can have a roomie. IDL is hooked up there by direct ethernet connection at about 50 a month.
it's a really nice place. it's big and it's very comfortable even for a one bedroom. i liek the fact that they have hurricane shutters

Right now the only problem with Campus Village is the noise level from construction of Campus Village Phase II.

well, lagoon view and rising sun also hears the noise since they're close by. but they should finish phase II by end of august.

CV is one of the few American style apartments close to school. I think its a nice safe place to live. They do have 2 two bedroom but I think they are both rented out until May 06. Good luck!!!

We're conveniently located next to BBs and Sichuan which therefore gives us a nice amount of animal control. Hey, did BBs close down or something? I never see it open?
i don't think they're open in the evenings anymore.

How far in advance do you have to apply for campus village apartments?

If you want reliable info about these complexes, you can write to:
risingsunsxm@yahoo.com
This is the email address for the management company that runs them. They will know if there is space available or not. I hope this helps.

It depends, if you want to move in around the time everyone else usually moves in then the wait list is long. If you want to move in like in the middle of a semester then not that long.

If you can't find a place to stay, there are some really nice apartments/condos right by campus. I think the rent is free. They don't have windows, etc though.

AUC might buy those and make those into new dorms although the rent won't be free when they get done with those.....

Though it might be dangerous, someone is bound to get hit in the head by an errant golf ball. I'm just suprised it hasn't happened yet.

Olive Garden is about 7 blocks away from here....although it isn't considered Italian food.

No, but it's considered a decent place to eat. But then again, I came from the armpits of California where anyplace airconditioned was a decent place to eat.

BB is still in Aruba and nobody knows if and or when he is coming back. He has been gone since early April when his son was in the accident and has not yet returned even though every week he would call and promise to be back "next week".
Hope that covers the where the heck is BB question.

how does internet setup work? It says "easy internet" in the apartment description. What does that mean? Should I buy a Caribserve box, or is that already there? thanks.

It means if you wish to use IDL at Campus Village, they are directly connected to IDL by ethernet so you don't have to get a box.
