If you are really looking for a good place to eat and are willing to drive a bit, then I'd recommend going to get some King Taco (or KT as we like to call it). It has to be the one of the best places to get Mexican food in LA.

Here's a link with all the restaurants so when in LA you can find the closest one (probably downtown LA or P****ena). http://www.kingtaco.com/

Oh and get some In-N-Out burgers off of Panama Canal Rd. on the 99 South as you head to LA. Well that's the closest one to you, there's also one next to Magic Mountain on Lyons Ave. in Valencia (off the 5).

Good eating!!!

See you in a few

Hey man, $40 for some delicious prime rib, two side orders, yorkshire pudding, salad and all you can eat meatballs is a steal man!

As for sushi, there's this place on Pico and Sawtelle called Hide, really good sushi. Though be warned, it's a cash only place.

There are a few good asian buffet places here that are descent priced for the food they give you. A place called L.A. Buffet has all you can eat seafood nights on fri and sat. They have diffeent varieties of fish, nice crab legs(my fav!), a mongolian chef, all the other chinese foods, and SUSHI(my second favorite!)

If your in the L.A. area then there are a lot of upscale and regular bars that are really cool to just kill time. Also you have Las Vegas and Laughlin close by....but im sure your all gambled out from sxm.

Coldstones, Ben nd Jerrys are the best ice cream places I have been to--just something about the taste.....:D

L.A. Buffett? that's a horrible choice! If you really want to go to a really good buffett, go to universal city hilton. they have a buffet there that's close to 38 dollars but you have all you can eat lobster! it's one of the best in town. they have all you can eat sushi, prime rib, all types of seafood (from scallops to shrimp to king crab leg)... dessert, asian dishes, american dishes, etc. it's worth the 38 dollars.

humm should I listen to an AUC newbie or SOE's Island partner...

tough choice.

and anyways, I'm married so buffets are usually a bad idea for the wallet as the wife can't really chow down that much. Sure, I can hold my own but I've already gained enough weight from my Taiwan trip...
