Hello,
I was wondering if anyone has looked at the list that the housing department at AUC has for off campus housing? I received it by email and there are a lot of apartments to choose from. My problem is that I would like to rent one ASAP without even looking at one in person, so I was hoping that somebody can provide me with some details about a couple of the housing complexes I am interested in.
ARe any of the following complexes: Cupecoy (Tradewinds), (Arbor Estates), Cote D'Azur Marina or Cote D'Azur/Lagoon Park walking distance to AUC and how would you rate the overall quality of the apartments in these complexes? I am not going to gamble with trying to get a 1 bedroom unit in the dorms so I am desperately trying to find an apartment off campus. I can't come to the island before the 26th of August due to personal reasons and I have heard that trying to find an apartment at that time is really difficult. Are usually only the expensive 1 bedroom apartments near the campus still around, or do they even get taken up? My budget is pretty high so that is not a concern, I just don't want to have any big surprises when I arrive. Any kind of suggestions, thoughts, or info would be greatly apprecitated.
