Nono, I think they'll have cleared the airport by then. Must stock up on Pad Thai then.
as long as it's not a category 5 hurricane, i'll be very happy. gotta go stock up on water. do you think water prices are gonna go up?

my first semester when there was a tropical storm it rained non-stop for about 2 weeks and my 3rd floor apartment flooded

The storm has a name now...Emily.
According to the new projections it'll pass ~70-100 miles south of sxm ... early estimates say it'll be a cat. 1 or possibly a cat. 2 storm when is passes closests to the island ... if it stays on this course, we should feel something...

Seeing how the storm has the same name as my daughter you can bet it will not go where it is supposed to go and will bring disaster wherever it does decide to go.

its gonna be nothing..... but you know the island..... anything to get out of work...... so everything will probably shut down.
im going home this friday for the weekend so luckily i changed my flight to go through miami instead or puerto rico. this thing should be a menace to that island.
i still don't think it would be that bad. there was suppose to be a hurricane that was on the way in sept of 2004 (almost the same path) but we only caught the edge of it. there was hardly any wind and rain. if it maintains the course, it'll definately not hit us.

Yeah, all you people are getting too upset about this. We're not even close to the projected path on any of the scenarios. We'll get a little rain and have some high waves...that's about it. Oooh, and don't forget mullet bay water park. Bring your swimsuit kiddies.

unfortunetely i had to worry about sxm and puerto rico. those two airports were essential to my timely departure from the island
now i may be eating crow because i changed my flight to the miami one to avoid puerto rico in case that island got some effect from the storm. it cost $100 per ticket to change the flight (me and fiance), but it was worth it at the time, considering the miami flight was almost full. now the damn thing looks like its not even gonna hit puerto rico. i guess it was $200 wasted.
