Is it advisable to read FA only before the exam? I have three weeks before the exam and i'm going thru kaplan notes right now. If I just use FA last ten days is that OK? I got a 62% on kaplan cd and 65% on qbank. I'm not planning on taking the nbme exam now. If i review everything again ...will i be ready for the exam? Around what score should I be expecting on my real exam?

The nbme’s test is the most accurate test out there, so take it at least 6 days b4 the actual exam.
That score from the Kaplan’s cd is ok (it’s difficult to predict the score according to it) but the actual test (at least mine) was much closer to the nbme’s (completely different form that one). For that one I think the FA is helpful but for the real one (as said b4, at least 4 mine) FA wasn’t helpful at all, so if I were you I would go through the Kaplan’s (or your own) notes, especially through your weak fields, rather than through the FA.
My opinion is that the FA is full of facts & details & usually exam’s qs aren’t prepared in that way! Still God knows what you’ll get on your test!
Wish you all the best!

if u haven't read first aid till now then no point reading it now. however if u have it go thru the slides and the last few pages where most commons are given and u should be fine. just concentrate on kaplan and dont worry about the scores too much as it is not in ur hands. just give it ur best shot.
